Tres Leches

When you read the name of this cake, you must be confused thinking" What is this Tres Leches? Well, it is a milk cake. This cake has three layers which are cake, layer, and topping. The layer and topping includes heavy cream, condensed milk, evaporated milk, regular milk. 

The creamy texture inside this cake taste so good. I can proudly say this is the best cake I have ever tasted. If you are a milk lover and you try this cake, it will become your favorite cake too and you will keep on wanting to eat more.

I am not much of a cake lover but one day one of my friends mom baked this cake for me. I tried a piece, then I couldn't stop eating it. Right then at that moment, I decided to bake this cake until I make the right one. Finally after many attempts, I made the one that I liked. 

You can bake this cake for your friends on their birthdays or bake it for yourself as a treat because you deserve it.

Ingredients for the Cake
  • 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup regular sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Ingredients for cake filling
  • 2 cups regular milk
  • 1 ca sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 can evaporated milk

Ingredients for Topping
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Direction
  1. Preheat oven for 350 degree F
  2. Grease the pan, sprinkle some flour on the top of it.
  3. Mix everything given in "Ingredients for the cake" & bake for 30 minutes
  4. After cake is ready, let it cool down and poke a hole in it by using fork.
  5. Mix the ingredients given in "Ingredients for cake filling" and pour it on the top of the cake.
  6. Mix the ingredients given in "Ingredients for Topping", then spread it on the top of cake and refrigerate it.
  7. Decorate the cake with oranges, grapes (Optional).

Green Smoothie



Ingredients

Green Smoothie
  • 1 cup Coconut milk 
  • 1 handful kale
  • 1 cup red grapes
  • 2 cups frozen banana
  • 1 tbsp Chia Seeds
  • 1 tsp cinnamon 


Pomegranate and Coconut flakes topping
  • 1/2 cup pomegranate
  • 1/2 cup coconut flakes
