Chow Mein


Chow Mein
Who doesn't love Chow Mein? I could literally eat it everyday. This recipe is loaded with vegetables, sausage, and spices. 

Ingredients
  • 2 large Carrots                          
  • 16 ounce Egg noodles                 
  •  3 tbsp Oil                                
  • 1/2 inch Ginger                           
  • 3 tbsp garlic paste                    
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce                       
  • salt & pepper as per taste 
  • 2 stalks green onions                    
  • 3 tbsp siracha                            
  • 5 tbsp ketchup                            
  • 2 tbsp sesame sauce                  
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar                     
  • 1/2 cup red onions                      
  •  1/4 cup cilantro                          
  • 1 green chilli                         
  • 1 lime                                 
  • 1 pkg sausage                          
  • 2 dried red chill                          
  • 1 tbs sesame seed                    
  • few chopped almond                            


Direction
  1. Boil noodles with 1 tbsp salt, 2 tbs oil &water. Don't let it get overcooked. 
  2.  Drain the hot water, place the noodles in cold water.
  3.  Drain the cold water, marinate the noodles in soy sauce, sesame sauce, & vinegar.
  4.  Place the pan in medium heat; add oil, dried chilli, onions, cabbage, chilli, green onions, carrots, garlic, ginger. Stir it, don't let it get cooked, it has to be crunchy. 
  5.  Add noodles, pepper, salt, siracha, ketchup, cilantro. Stir it, with fork and let it cook for 5 minutes in medium heat. 
  6.  Fry the Sausage separately and mix it with the noodles.  
  7.  Sprinkle sesame seed, chopped almond,and decorate with lime.
