Hot and Sour Soup with Tofu
Who doesn't love hot and sour soup? It is the best thing to eat in the cold and chilly weather. And this recipe takes only 15 minutes and few ingredients.
Ingredients
- Chicken broth 6 cups
- Soy sauce 2tbs
- Red pepper powder 1/2 tsp
- Mushroom 1cup
- Bamboo Shoot 1/2 cup
- Tofu 1/2 of 1 pkg
- Ginger 1/2 inch (paste)
- Garlic 3 cloves
- Rice vinegar 3tbs
- Corn starch 2tbs
- Egg 1 large
- Green onion 3(optional)
Direction
- In a large pot, add chicken broth, soy sauce, red pepper powder, mushroom, bamboo shoot, tofu, ginger & garlic.Then cook it in medium heat for 5 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix cornstarch & vinegar. Then add it to the soup and stir it.
- In a small bowl, beat the egg and pour it into the soup slowly. Stir the soup and cook for 30 seconds.
- Serve the soup in the bowl and sprinkle green onions. Enjoy
